Seminar Scholarships Available

T.A.C. Seminar Scholarship Opportunity:

As we all know, Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan has many valuable attributes that benefit both individuals and society as a whole. However, we need visibility to properly pass on these valuable traits to the public. Through the Foundation, we hope to increase public awareness of and participation in our Art.

We also look to give back to the Federation and provide opportunities for individuals to attend Federation events who otherwise may not have had a chance. To that end, the Foundation would like to begin our support this year by offering Scholarships to attend the 2011 TAC Seminars hosted at the Regional level as well as TAC Seminars hosted at the National Festival in San Diego, CA. These Scholarships will be earned by writing and submitting an essay.

Scholarship Submission Details
Interested members should include their name, age, rank, instructor, Region, e-mail address, phone number, and National or Regional TAC Seminar that they would like to attend on the title page. The essay question is as follows:

“How do you benefit from the Moo Duk Kwan?”

The essay should be no longer than one typed page. Candidates should submit their essay to their instructor once completed. Instructors will submit essays to their Regional Examiner who will send hem to the Foundation Board of Directors for review and final selection. All essays are due by May 20th, 2011. Scholarship winners will be notified by June 1st, 2011.
