John Maihos

I am an internationally certified Master level practitioner  of the Soo Bahk Do® martial art system taught in Moo Duk Kwan® schools worldwide and a Life Member of the United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, Inc. chartered in 1975. I have served on the United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation Board of Directors and I also served as President of the United States Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Foundation, Inc. chartered in 2012. I served as secretary from then until elected as President in 2017.  All Board Directors are volunteers.

Community service is important to me; I am active Kiwanis, and served as Governor for the New England District of Kiwanis International through 9/30/2008. I am a Board Member for the North Shore United Way, and serve on the Executive Committee of the North Shore Local Council. I also enjoy fraternal organizations through Freemasonry at Liberty Lodge A.F. & A.M., Scottish Rite, York Rite and Aleppo Shriners.  Also as a Justice of the Peace and Notary in Massachusetts, I am able to help people in important life issues.
