Foundation Campaigns

Foundation campaigns are overarching, broad scope, long-term initiatives of the Foundation that may encompass many different fundraisers and events over an extended period of time and which are focused on supporting a high level Foundation cause, purpose, goal, etc.

  1. "Be The Change In A Life"

  2. "There Is Only One Moo Duk Kwan"

An ongoing joint 501(c)(3) U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Foundation and 501(c)(4) U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation campaign focused on the preservation and protection of the Moo Duk Kwan's unique identity. This particular campaign includes regional goals set by the 501(c)(4) Board of Directors for members of the U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation in each of its regions.
      1. 2012 Regional Goals
      2. 2013 Regional Goals (TBD)
  3. "Seminar Scholarships"
    1. An ongoing Foundation initiative for members and businesses to sponsor deserving students to participate in Technical Advisory Committee Seminars that the students would not otherwise be able to attend.
  4. "Hardships"
    1. An ongoing Foundation initiative for students unable to afford Federation membership or other dues and fees required for participation and certifications.

The Foundation provides a number of different ways that you can support and contribute to mission objectives.
In order to receive funding and grants to help the growth and promotion of Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan, the Foundation needs your ongoing support and active help.

The Board plans to formalize and create programs that present the values of the Moo Duk Kwan to the general public. These programs will be presented to grant writers and corporations to help acquire the funds we need to promote the Soo Bahk Do martial art system and make it more visible in local communities.

Many Certified studios have already implemented these types of programs and we are asking you to support the Foundation as we develop these ideas further on a national level so all interested studio owners can offer effective and proven programs.

By presenting an organized, structured program we will accumulate data and results that confirm Foundation donor’s generous gifts are making a difference.

Please contact the 501c(3) Foundation Board of Directors (board@soobahkdofoundation.org) for more information on how you can be part of the Foundation’s efforts.

Should you wish to support the Foundation’s initiatives by making a donation, please do so through thefundraising effort of your choice.

We thank you for your support and look forward to the great opportunities that will be offered by this Foundation.
