Volunteer Board Director Positions Open

Volunteer Board Director Positions Open

The 501(c)(3) non-profit U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Foundation is seeking two members, 18 years or older, who are passionate about the art of Soo Bahk Do® and the vision of our Kwan Jang Nim (we realize that is probably every practitioner).

We are seeking a few people who can share their passion and energy to help generate donations for our Foundation. If you have experience in grant writing, that skill is a plus.

There are seven seats on the Foundation Board of Directors, and if you are selected, you would serve for a three-year term ending 12/31/2015.

One of our mission objectives is to spread the message of our Founder and share the legacy he has created so that others can enjoy the positive benefits of studying self defense in the Moo Duk Kwan®. We are also engaged in protecting and preserving the art of Soo Bahk Do®.

We work as a team, and meet via a monthly teleconference, usually at 9:00 PM ET. We collaborate and work closely with the U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation® and its Board, Technical Advisory Committee and all groups within the Federation. We are unified by our common Moo Do values and a desire to see the art survive and flourish.

If you believe that you are the person we need, then we want to hear from you.

To be considered for nomination to our Board, please contact the Foundation at info@soobahkdofoundation.org.
